The Chicago Food Truck Finder locates food trucks in the City of Chicago. Not only does it show where food trucks are currently, but also shows where food trucks are going to be throughout the day.
The app has a list view, which shows what food trucks are open now and what food trucks will be open later. The results are sorted by distance from your current location (If location is not known or access to the GPS device is not permitted, then list will be sorted by name). The app also has a map view, which shows a map of the currently open food trucks. Both views allow you to see more information about any particular truck. This includes the food trucks social media information, website, and schedule for the day.
Results are cached locally, so if you run into a connectivity dead-zone, you will still be able to find the food trucks.

This program crashes at the intro screen every single time I try to open it. Have never actually been able to use it...

This app has come in handy many times for me, from checking what to snack while walking down the street to figuring out what to eat for lunch during the week. No other resource online is nearly as accurate. If you live in Chicago, do yourself a favor and get this app.
...where are the trucks? According to this app Chicago only has four. Certainly shouldnt be charging for this.
Happy I can save favorites, but would be far better if I coils receive alerts instead of having to always launch the app.
